THE MOST ADORABLE OF COWORKERS: MEET COSMO, THE OFFICE PUP

I have yet to meet an employee at Gotham Writers that wasn't... quite frankly, amazing. But there is one employee who stood out to me since my first day in the office, that's our amazing office pup, Cosmo!

Here he is with one of Gotham's published books, Fiction Gallery.

Cosmo is the most well-behaved office dog I have ever met. Always patient and only ever cross when someone rolls their roll-y chair a little to harshly across the floor, he is content to fall asleep under the desk or patiently wait for his next meal of Cheddar Bunnies.

He is one of the many perks of working in a relaxed office environment with no short supply of creative people (and pups: scroll down to meet another office animal-friend, Cordelia the service dog!)

My experience with office pets is quite limited to just one time when I was an intern at a performing arts center and my... charismatic boss was dog-sitting her brother-in-law's toy poodle for the week. Her name was Mickey and she was... rambunctious. Often, she would jump into your lap when she was feeling especially neglected and she would yap at the printer pretty much every time it... printed something. Not quite the picture of professionalism that Cosmo is!

But, we can't all be perfect employees all of the time, and Cosmo has his moments! Typically, around lunchtime, Cosmo becomes a bit more friendly than usual, hanging around any sweet-smelling foods that his human-coworkers might have stepped out to grab.

All in all, I highly recommend an office dog to brighten the spirits of any hardworking interns or full-time employees out there! (Although, I think you'll be hard-pressed to find one more adorable than our Cosmo...) Although Cordelia (pictured below) does come pretty darn close.
