Hi everyone! My name is Sakshi! I graduated from SUNY Geneseo in May 2019 with a major in English Literature and a minor in International Relations. I’m from Long Island, but would it be melodramatic if I told you my heart feels most at home when it’s in upstate New York? Well, it’s true. I’m currently teetering lines between my former identity as an undergraduate student and deeply yearning to craft and establish an identity for myself as a graduate student. Because if there is one thing you should know about me, it’s that I love reading, writing and learning. Wait, was that three things? Whatever. Anyway, it’s not in a facetious way. Just in a dorky way, where I am genuinely at my happiest when I’m doing these things. At the moment, I’m all about poetry. Hmm… What else? I wear socks to bed nearly year-round, my bloodstream is mostly, if not all caramel iced coffee with 2% milk, and I don’t like binge-watching T.V., but Black Mirror might be my kryptonite.
